Vintage..........

This is something very different for me.....a vintage inspired card! My inspiration is  Flora, her home and her vintage glamour! Vintage doesn't come easily, though I love everything vintage....take a look
The front and back of the little 10x10cm envelope are embellished with a collage of random pieces of olde world paper, stamps and lace. An aged brass feather and rivets bring a touch of steam punk to an otherwise soft and pretty project.

The little card inside sports a gorgeous fabric flower and Happy Birthday sentiment. Please excuse the orientation of the photo below ...can't seem to figure out how to turn it around!!

The French Butterfly.........

I just love this stamp set from Stampin Up......so french and so vintage. I made this card for a friend and am really happy with the end result (thanks to the amazing Teneale Williams for her inspiration).
......and it only took me 2 hours

This is the front...........

This is the inside.............
and this is how I dressed the gift.............
................not too bad I think

Real Wedding # 3: Vintage Whimsy

Another amazing  wedding achieved by the most creative bride and groom - she is the florist with the beautiful shabby, vintage sensibility and he is the musician with amazing style! The wedding was a mix of all this in shades of pink, chocolate brown and softest white. The brides blush pink gown made by her best friend, a mix of satin, chiffon and antique lace. Huge feathers, David Austen roses, white chandeliers, flower garlands, white wrought iron furniture and sumptuous white chaise lounges set the scene.
It goes without saying that the bride put her hand to all the flowers, her own bouquet, masses of individual rose petals brought together to form a single huge dusty pink bloom fringed with exotic feathers - gorgeous!!
Three bridesmaids in dusty pink chiffon and ankle boots and one bridesman and three groomsmen in braces with one groomswoman in brown chiffon and a fur stole complete this most charming and whimsical wedding
